The December 28th Chinatown Basketball event at Valentine was a success. All the Dragons Teams were able to participate in a fun day of basketball. Daron and Gene worked the kitchen to provide meals for all; at least those who value a good hotdog. The four contested games were sandwiched by gym time for the young Dragons teams.

The DNC35 team, led by the legendary "Wing Wor" team veterans Brian Hale and Joe Carlini, delivered a methodical 20 point beating on the young and upcoming Dragons Friendship team. The Dragons 18 and under A team shocked the Dragons DNC45 team by shooting over 80 percent on three pointers. The young Dragons saw many of the old Chinatown players in action for the first time. They were not disappointed -From Bobby Choy, Brian Hale, Joe Carline, Jimmy Chin, to David Chen, the veterans delivered. All the games were exciting and some revenge rematch will be in the works.

Will the Dragons A team able to beat the Dragons DNC45 team again? Will the Dragons Friendship team ever able to match up to the Dragons DNC35 team? TBD…
